Czech Diplomat Joins Vilnius Summit on Democracy’s Future

The Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs is participating in Vilnius this Friday at the Conference entitled “Future of Democracy”, inaugurated by Marija Pejčinović Burić, Secretary General of the Council of Europe and also with an intervention by Svetlana Tikhanovskaïa, leader of the Belarusian opposition , at the beginning of this forum.

“Our Western values are under attack. We must find ways to protect them against those who wish to destroy them,” said Jan Lipavský. The head of Czech diplomacy met on site with his Taiwanese counterpart, Joseph Wu, who thanked him for his support and described Lithuania and the Czechia as “moral superpowers”, according to Jakub Janda, director of the European values think tank also present in Vilnius.
