Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhoun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Religion of the Argentine Republic Diana Mondino on January 26.
During the telephone interview, Minister Djeyhoun Baïramov congratulated his counterpart Diana Mondino on her appointment and wished her every success in her activities.
The ministers discussed the prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina, emphasizing the importance of political consultations between the two countries.
Highlighting the great potential for expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including economy, agriculture, education, culture and others, the foreign ministers welcomed the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries last year.
The parties also exchanged views on other issues of common interest.
