An exceptional European council will be held on Tuesday by videoconference to refine the line of the Twenty-Seven on the conflict between Israel and Hamas, after a joint declaration published Sunday evening. From China, EU High Representative Josep Borrell stressed that the Commission President’s statements were her own. After criticism of the latter’s silence regarding respect for international law in Gaza, Brussels announced a tripling of aid to Palestine.

It looks like a Commedia dell’arte, it’s quite simply the European scene. This Tuesday, the Twenty-Seven will meet in an exceptional European council by videoconference to refine their common position in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, after several incredible episodes.
