Chairman of the Bulgaria-Vietnam Friendship Association Simeon Dimchev said that his association was established in 1993. In the afternoon of the same day, Vuong Dinh Huê met in Sofia with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Bulgaria and the Vietnamese ambassador to Bulgaria, as well as those stationed in Czechia, Romania, Slovakia, Greece and Turkey.
The Vietnamese leader expressed his joy that Slovakia recently became the second country (after the Czech Republic) to recognize the Vietnamese community as an ethnic minority community. This recognition illustrates the growth of the community, creating conditions for Vietnamese people to integrate deeply into the resident society and contribute to the development of cooperative and friendly relations between Vietnam and countries in the region, he said. -He underlines.
He asked the ambassadors to value their role in improving Vietnam’s position on the international stage and to make the best use of foreign resources for the country’s development.
